2012 Sancerre Joseph Mellot
$42 at Grafsteins in Toronto
Non-Mevushal
Aromatic. Strong Acidity, with citrus and green apple showing through. Very nice wine.


2009 Chablis La Pierrelée
$44 at Grafsteins in Toronto
Mevushal
Dissappointing. Medium acid with flavour of oxidized apple juice. Probably past its peak.


2013 Recanati Chardonnay
$23 at Grafsteins in Toronto
Non-Mevushal
Less aromatic than the Sancerre. Medium acidity with strong melon coming through. Subtle vanilla coming from the oak. Very good QPR.


2013 Adam Peters Homemade Chardonnay
Not for Sale
Non-Mevushal
Medium acidity. Flavours of honey, citrus and melon.


Red


2014 Tulip Just Blend
$27 at LCBO
Non-Mevushal
Aromatic. Medium acid, with plums and cherries. Mild tannins, reminiscent of a 3-4 year old Cabernet Sauvignon.


2013 Recanati Cabernet Sauvignon
$23 at Grafsteins in Toronto
Non-Mevushal
Aromatic. Medium acid, with vanilla, strong flavour of ripe berries. Buttery mouthfeel. Good QPR


2011 Recanati Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon "Lebanon Vineyard"
$39 at Grafsteins in Toronto
Non-Mevushal
Stronger than expected tannins. Medium acid, with muted fruit. Some vanilla. QPR was disappointing.
